Ana I. Maqueda received the Telecommunication Engineering degree (integrated BSc-MSc accredited by ABET) from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 2014. Since 2015 she has been a PhD student in the Image Processing Group of the UPM. Her research interests include computer vision, and augmented reality.

César Díaz received the Telecommunication Engineering degree (five-year engineering program) in 2007 and the Communication Technologies and Systems Master degree (two-year MS program) in 2010, both from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain. He is currently a PhD researcher at the same University. Since 2008 he has been a member of the Image Processing Group of the UPM. His research interests are in the area of video streaming/video transmission protection.

Carlos Muñoz (S’80) was born in Madrid, Spain, on June 11, 1959. He received the Ingeniero de Telecomunicacion (honors) degree in 1982 from the E.T.S.I. Telecomunicacion, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain. Since 1977 he has been with E.T.S.I. Telecomunicacion, first at the Physics Laboratory, and after 1981 at the Image Processing Group (GTI) of the Systems Department. His current research interests include image coding and control theory.
