On May 12, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid recognized the careers of various members of its teaching and research staff (PDI) and administrative and service staff (PTGAS) who have reached 25 years of service to the institution, in an official ceremony presided over by Rector Óscar García Suárez.

Within this tribute, the spotlight for the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes fell especially on two of its members: Francisco Morán and Luis Salgado. Both have been honored for their long and valuable contributions to the group and to the university over these years.

The GTI celebrates this recognition, expressing its gratitude for their sustained commitment, their academic and research work, and their role in the growth of both the group and the university.
