COVID-19

Since last 27th March, the GTI has been collaborating on the provision of protective equipment needed these days by sanitary professionals, residences, pharmacies, police, etc.

To do this, the group’s 3D printer is being used to produce face shields and the group collaborates with the ETSIT-UPM “Makers” community (etsit.upm.es/covid/) and with the network “CoronavirusMakers” (www.coronavirusmakers.org), which manages the collection and distribution of the protective material to the needy professionals.

Since then, the GTI has produced and delivered more than 60 face shields.
